Staffing a New Customer Care Operation in a Competitive Market

TRC Talent Solutions partnered with a national insurance provider to support the launch of a new hybrid customer care location in South Portland, Maine. The goal was to quickly build a strong local talent pipeline and staff key roles needed to successfully open the new operation, despite the tight timelines.

Our Solution

TRC implemented a data-informed recruitment strategy to improve candidate alignment and expand the talent pipeline. The team analyzed regional pay data, provided insights on competitive compensation expectations, developed targeted screening questions, and launched campaign-driven outreach to increase candidate engagement in the local market.

The Results

The project delivered strong hiring outcomes and helped the client successfully launch the new location. TRC filled 19 of the 21 Customer Care roles and 11 of the 18 Leave Case Manager roles while executing 10 recruitment campaigns between September 11 and October 28, 2025 that engaged more than 8,000 candidates. Even after the project concluded, the client continued hiring candidates from the pipeline TRC developed.
